How Come We Are So Busty?

Ever wondered why we North American women have as large breasts as we do? How come we are so busty? Maybe you haven´t been thinking about it, but there are rational reasons behind the large average breast size of US women.  This review clarifies the underlying factors behind our large breast size.

Increased Global Awareness Of Our Large Breast Size

There is no doubt about that we North American women have a very large breast size. Anyone can confirm the fact simply by looking around. There are also thoroughly conducted published studies showing that we got much more in our bra than women in other countries.

As a direct consequence of globalization, the large breast size of US women has got increased attention all over the world. Both researchers and the International Breast Shape Standard (IBSS) recognize the special characteristics of  the US type of Breasts, but have you ever thought about how come we US women have got as well-developed breasts as we have?

People travel more than ever before. Popular media coverage is increasingly global. Considering the fast globalization, it is certainly not surprising at all that the large breast size of US women is gathering more international attention than maybe ever before. Today, US women dominate magazine covers, marketing, movies and adult entertainment. Recently, a very large-scale global study concluded that Caucasian women born in the USA have a clearly larger average breast volume than women in other countries.

Misconceptions About Underlying Reasons Are Common

By now, virtually all educated people despite of their nationality know that US women have much larger breasts than women of other nations. However, it is striking that only a small minority of people is familiar with the underlying factors behind the large breast size of US women.

Many foreign people, and even a significant part of less-educated Americans, have a common misconception of that the large breast size of US women would be explained by obesity, breast surgery, environmental pollution, or hormones in food. They could not not be more wrong in the light of scientific facts.

Study reports show consistently that not only overweight, but also sporty and fit US women with natural breasts have a very large average breast size compared to women born in other countries.

Further, global pollution indexes show that the USA is one of the least polluted countries in the world, and the US Food Safety Authority, FDA, is recognized for its very high safety standards concerning controls any kind of residues in food.

Our Historic Heritage Plays Key Role

What are then the real reasons to our well-developed bust? Why have got so much more in our bra than women of other countries of the world?

The explanation is to be found in our heritage and the long-term cultural values of the USA. Based on the facts, the large average breast size of US women is not due to any external substances, but a result of historical and cultural factors that have been, and are, in favor of women with larger breasts.

A closer look on the topic has led the researches to the conclusion that the primary basics of the large breast size of US women are related to the immigration background of the US population.

In Colonial Times Large Breasts Indicated Good Health And High Reproduction Capacity

When Europeans first began settling the North America, the boat trips over the Atlantic requested both good health condition and quite a lot of means. Wealthy men preferred to immigrate together with the fittest women.

In those times too, large breasts were considered as an indication for good health. It was also an indicator easy to evaluate visually also in those early days with no diagnostic tests or advanced health controls available. Although sex hormones were not yet known, large breasts were commonly considered as a proof of a woman´s reproductive health and vitality. Malnourished or sickly women never had large, rounded breasts.

Breastfeeding Was A High Priority Task

Further, the feeding of infants was seen as a high priority task under the demanding colonial conditions.

Large breasts were seen as an obvious indicator of a woman´s capacity to produce plenty of nutritious and healthy breast milk for the needs of infants.

In those days, the correlation between a woman´s breast size and her milk yield was considered as a self-evident and publicly recognized fact.

For clarity, it should be mentioned that it was not before the second half of the 20th Century the public organizations  stopped talking about the positive correlation between breast volume and milk yield in order to be politically correct i.e., tactful to less endowed women. As late as in the 1950s it was no “public secret” that a woman with large breasts have more milk gland tissue and a higher breastmilk yield than a woman with smaller breasts.

Origin Of Caucasian Immigrants

Another factor to consider is the origin of Caucasian immigrants. The major part of the immigrants to the USA came from Ireland, UK, Netherlands and Poland – the countries with the largest average breast sizes in Europe still today.

As large breasts were not only considered as beautiful, but also indicators of good health, it was understandable that men, who decided to explore the world, preferred to immigrate together with the bustiest women. The male immigrants were often young and energetic persons with an enterprising attitude, so they were in good position to choose their female partner for their trip to the New World.

Long Tradition Of Cultural Appreciation Of Busty Women

Also culturally, women with large and well-developed breasts have always been highly appreciated in the USA. The North American culture praises women with large, full-bodied breasts. This appreciation has contributed to a continuously improved breast size and shape.

In the USA women with large breasts and high breastmilk yield have been highly valued in all the centuries.

As early as in the first half of 18th century there was a significant number of referrals in the European literature mentioning that Caucasian women living in New World (later USA) had commonly clearly larger breast size than women in the other parts of the world.

Writers and traveled scientists of that time wrote down their observations using often very openly admiring expressions to describe North American women:

“Women here have significantly large and beautifully shaped roundish breasts.”

“Their breasts are like large, fruity melons. Abundant and firm.”

“American women have adorable, voluptuous mammary glands, strikingly much larger than what we were used to back home.”

“Women have clearly more stately breasts than women have in the Old World.”

“Their bust is incomparable luscious.”

“I can only ask myself, if what made all the most beautiful women travel here.”

“They look impressive in an irresistible way.””

“They are the most charming and capable women a man can dream about. They have voluptuous feminine bodies and heavy roundish breasts”.

“Their enormous breasts are beyond comparison.”

“American women are not only beautiful. Their wealthy breasts are very voluptuous and perfectly roundish in shape.”

“Women here are bustiest I have ever seen.”

“They have enormous voluptuous bust and they can bewitch any man.”

Early 20th Century Reporters Praised The Beauty Of US Women In Publications All Over The Literate World

By the beginning of the 20th century, the exceptional beauty and the large breast size of North American women were known throughout the civilized world. Newspapers and radio got more common in households abroad. News and knowledge reached people more efficiently than before. The international news coverage increased dramatically.

In the 18th and 19th centuries only the most educated people had been reached by information offered by books and other publications. In the early 20th century there were already a lot of reporters who had personally visited the USA. When they returned to their home countries, they described US women in very admiring and praising terms in their travel articles.

The message they forwarded to their readers was not much different from what had been written about North American women in the European literature of 18th and 19th centuries. However, this time the information of the beauty of US women reached also the larger public all over the literate world.

In 1940s American Women Became Idols Of Men Of All Nationalities

After World War II both movies, radio and magazines witnessed the overwhelming beauty of American women. US women took over magazine covers and dominated the beauty related pictorials in magazines of the civilized world.

As media was increasingly visual with photos and pictorials in connection to articles, North American women took fast a leading position in the international press and movies. This was a major change in from a global perspective. Previously, newspapers and magazines had been mainly nationally focused on reporting about local celebrities of their home country. Now, US women got fast the position as the Top Stars shining on the pages of magazines and newspapers all over the world.

The late 1940´s was the first time American women became the major idols of men of all nationalities. Foreign celebrities were left aside, when American Actresses and Beauty Queens took over the pages of both international and local publications.

US Women of 1950s Chocked Foreign Women

– Took Over Magazines And Movies For Good

By the 1950´s men in all countries were admiring Virginia Bell, Kathy Suits, Lorraine Burnette, Paula Page, Elaine Reynolds, Marilyn Monroe, Boo B. Barlow, Anita Hendrix, Martha Hyer and hundreds of other North American women presented in the magazines.

Foreign women were shocked when they now saw the pictorials revealing the overwhelming beauty and well-developed bodies  of US women.

Actually, women in many countries protested silently against the wide-scale exposure of US women in press and movies. They felt overruled as women when they were forced to witness how prominently female US women were praised and shown in media.

Although the beauty of American women had been well known for a long time, now the pictures in the magazines forced foreign women to see in the eyes the fact, that American women really had very much larger breasts than women in other countries.

However, the protests died out soon as foreign women understood they had no way to stop their husbands and boyfriends from admiring the beauty of North American women.

In a few years women all over the world accepted the worldwide popularity of US women as a natural and inevitable fact driven by the superior beauty of North American women.

Martha Hyer from Fort Worth, TX, and hundreds of other US women got the attention of men all over the world in the 1950s. Foreign women were shocked when they saw the pictorials revealing the overwhelming beauty and well-developed bodies  of US women.

American Women Put Aside Local Adult Stars

It was no coincidence that Playboy and many other international men’s magazines were born in the United States. North American men’s magazines had a very fast-growing international demand as soon as they became available abroad. For obvious reasons, foreign men’s magazines had no chance to compete with the US magazines.

Already in the past centuries the United States had become widely known as the country with the world’s most beautiful women. When beautiful and sexy US women were now presented in revealing pictorials and movies, they took the world with storm. Men all over the world were impressed by their female energy, perfect bodies and well-developed large breasts. As press and movies were more visual than ever before, US women were visible for people in all the countries of the world. US women showed that they deserved their position as the international ideal of female beauty and sexiness. US women with their female curves took fast over the covers of adult magazines all over the world.

Men Were Not Interested in Flat Fashion Experiment

– US Women Took Over Whole Entertainment Business

In the 60’s and 70’s, several fashion companies in Europe were trying to create clothes for women similar to men’s apparel. Their goal was to introduce collections that would fit also women with small chest. This gave some temporary relief for the impacted self-esteem of the small-chested foreign women. However, at the same time their husbands were still dreaming of American women with large, bulky  breasts. When Melinda Windsor, Ohio and Linda Moon, Michigan posed for Playboy (1966), foreign men were reading the magazine over and over again. It became apparent that covering clothing could never compete with the real feminine curves of North American women.

Clothing that emphasized breasts returned also to Europe in the 80’s, far too late to save local cover models who were left permanently sidelined by their American peers as their men had already been exposed to the superior curves of US women. There was no way to reverse the development with any enhancements or clothing tricks. Men had already seen the real curves of US women.

Since then, busty North American women have dominated the entertainment industry of the world including film, video and music businesses. Nowadays, US women collect also the revenues of the Internet based beauty and sex businesses.

By now, we  have dominated the global adult industry already for more than half a century.

Beauty Contests Have Always Been Our Home Field

The USA has also always been the globally leading country concerning the beauty US woman the winner of the beauty contestcontests. The first international beauty contest of the world was arranged in 1926. The winner of the contest was awarded the title of “Miss Universe.”

As the contests really focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, North American women dominated the international beauty pageants from very beginning:

Catherin Moylan from Dallas, TX  was the first Miss Universe 1926. In 1927 she was followed by Dorothy Britton, New York, and a year later by Ella Van Hueson from Chicago, and Dorothy Dell Goff from Hattiesburg, MS, in 1930.

Since then, US women have won by far most international beauty contests. Women from no other nation can come even close to us what comes to our victories and top title holders. Nowadays, some titles are allocated also to non-US women in the name of  “diplomacy and political correctness”. Still, US women collect as a rule the top awards in  the international beauty pageants, whenever there is true competition based on the appearance and looks.

By now, our victories in global beauty pageants have been so many that there are reports of that foreign women do not any longer even dare to participate in international beauty contests with US competitors. The superior beauty of North American women makes them simply too embarrassed to step on the stage to be judged next to US women!

US women have always collected the top awards of international beauty pageants. Also in this international Beauty Contest of the early 50’s all the awards went to US beauties of the competition. The superior American winners took all the official top places, as well as all the other titles (Press Favorite, People´s  Choice, Miss Sexy, Most Talented Beauty Queen, The Most Female Woman and The Best Body). The foreign participants were left without any prizes, while the US winners returned to their homes with their suitcases packed with cash and other prizes.

We So Much More Than Just Busty!

Today, it is well known that our female appearance, as well as our energy and ability to reach our goals, are widely admired by people all over the world. In a summary, thanks to the historic background, harsh colonial conditions and our esthetic culture and values, we North American women of today have better developed bust than women in any other country of the world. That´s a valuable asset in many ways:

We top the list, when the individuals of the opposite sex are having their erotic dreams, and we have no problems to find interested guys. We are also looked up to by many foreign women, although sometimes in a pretty envious way.

Not to forget one of the basic functions of female breasts. Not only the size, but also the the milk production capacity of our breasts is unmatched. Our milk yield is commonly high, so it´s no wonder not only breast feeding, but also milk pumping and milk donation activities are more satisfactory experiences for US women than for women of other countries.

Although our breasts get a lot of global attention, we should be careful not to point out our breasts as our only assets. Yeah, we are busty and attractive females

– but we are also smart and self-confident!

Actually, a social study reported that many foreign women feel themselves overruled by “the energetic and dominant behavioral style of US women” and they also described us as “smart solution finders, who get what they want”.

Let´s take that positively! I think it is just somehow natural for us to take the lead, when we are among foreign women.  Let´s continue to keep the lead to get what we want, and be proud of our All-American female curves – whether we wear business suit or bikini!

“In the 50´s the international travelling became more common and US women got

a lot of attention when they started to visit beaches all over the world.

Such fully developed feminity had never before been seen in foreign countries…”
